清閑寺窯
ごあいさつ
清閑寺窯は、京都・五条の茶碗坂に工房を構える京焼の窯元です。
仁清・古清水の流れを継承した色絵による彩色の技法を、
代々の当主たちが大切に育み、
京都の地と、そしてお茶の文化と共に育ってまいりました。
現在は、五代 杉田眞龍が、歴代が築き上げた清閑寺窯の心を守りながら、
様々な作り手や文化・風景との出会いをインスピレーションに、
作陶に打ち込んでおります。

Seikanjigama is a Kyoto pottery studio located on Chawanzaka in Gojo, Kyoto.
The technique of coloring by iroe (color painting) inherited from Nisei and Kiyomizu is carefully nurtured by the generations of heads of the kiln,

The kiln has grown up together with Kyoto and its tea culture.
Currently, the fifth generation, Maryu Sugita, is preserving the spirit of Seikanji Kiln established by the successive generations,
